About USTM: The University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) is a private university located in Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya, India. It was established in 2011 by Mr. Mahbubul Hoque and is the first State Private University in the entire Northeast India. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. USTM has also complied with UGC’s 12(B) status and was recently accredited with Grade “A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in its first cycle itself.
USTM is divided into seven academic units, including the School of Biological Sciences, School of Business Sciences, School of Applied Sciences, School of Social Sciences & Humanities, School of Engineering & Technology, PQH School of Education, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
