About North East Christian University: North East Christian University (NECU) is a private university located in Nagaland, India. Its story began many years ago, when Christian missionaries started schools in the North East, helping to spread education and develop local languages. Although a Christian university was first proposed in 1940, it was not until 2010 that the dream was revived by church leaders and principals of theological seminaries. After years of planning and consultations, the Nagaland Legislative Assembly passed the NECU Act in 2023, officially establishing the university.
NECU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has received several important accreditations, including from the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) and the Quality Council of India. The university is also a member of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The main campus is being developed on 250 acres in Medziphema Village, with a city centre in Dimapur. NECU is known for its focus on quality education, Christian values, and community service. It is especially recognized for certifying traditional community healthcare providers and clinical professionals. NECU aims to serve the people of North East India by providing excellent higher education and professional training.

North East Christian University: Admission
The admission process at North East Christian University (NECU) is simple process.
First, students show their interest in the university’s programs. Next, they collect information about courses, requirements, and deadlines from the university website or admissions office. Then, students fill out and submit an application form, either online or on paper, along with important documents like transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters.
