APU is located in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, and is part of the Apex Education Group. Apex Professional University: Scholarships
Apex Professional University (APU) offers a range of scholarship schemes to support and reward talented students, especially those from the North East region. Here are the key scholarship programs at APU:
- North East Scholarship: APU recognizes the outstanding talent of students from the North East states and offers scholarships to attract and reward the best candidates. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must submit their application online for the Scholarship & Talent Reward Entrance Test (STaRT). The scholarship amount is determined on a case-by-case basis, and selected students will be intimated accordingly.
- Post Matric Scholarship: The Post Matric Scholarship scheme is a centrally sponsored program implemented by state governments and union territory administrations. The Government of India provides 100% central assistance over and above the committed liability of the state governments/UTs. The scholarship is awarded by the state government or UT administration to which the applicant belongs.
- Internship Program: APU offers an internship program that combines holistic knowledge with innovative avenues for earning while learning the intricacies of academics and administration. Eligible students can receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 35,000. The interns will carry out their studies along with the internship, as per the university’s norms.

- Attendance and Academic Performance: Students availing scholarships must maintain a minimum attendance of 85% and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5 in every semester to continue receiving the scholarship. These criteria are the sole basis for the continuation of the scholarship.
- Renewal of Scholarships: Scholarships awarded are valid for a specific year only. For subsequent years, the continuation or discontinuation of the scholarship depends on the student’s performance in the qualifying year and the scholarship policy applicable at that time.
- Scope of Scholarships: All scholarships, stipends, financial aids, and fee concessions are applicable to the tuition fee only. They do not cover other fees such as admission, registration, examination, library, hostel, or any other charges.
- Scholarship Termination: The university reserves the right to terminate a scholarship at any time if the student fails to maintain the required academic performance, attendance, or discipline. The decision of the university in this regard will be final and binding.
- Scholarship Acceptance: By accepting the scholarship, the student agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions set forth by the university. Any violation of these terms may result in the immediate termination of the scholarship.
