About Manipur University of Culture – [MUC]: Manipur University of Culture (MUC), located in Imphal, Manipur, was established in 2015 with the aim of promoting art, culture, and the rich cultural heritage of India. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a coeducational institution that offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the field of arts.
- The Manipur University of Culture was established in 2015 after the Government of Manipur introduced a Bill called “The Manipur University of Culture Bill, 2015” in the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
- The Bill received the assent of the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur on April 10, 2015, and was published in the Manipur Gazette on May 5, 2015.

Manipur University of Culture (MUC): Admission
- Announcement of Admissions: Admission applications will be announced through advertisements in local and national newspapers, as well as on the university’s official website.
- Submission of Application Forms: Candidates must complete the application form available online at muc.ac.in. The following documents should be enclosed with the application (in duplicate for manual submissions):
- Photographs: Two self-attested copies of a recent passport-sized photograph, which should be affixed to the designated space on the application form.
- Academic Certificates: Two self-attested photocopies of the High School Leaving Certificate and Higher Secondary Examination Certificate, along with their respective mark sheets.
- Foundation Course Certificates: Two self-attested photocopies of certificates for any Foundation Course or Certificate Examination relevant to the chosen subjects.
- Reserved Category Certificates: For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, self-attested photocopies of relevant certificates must be submitted.
- Reserved Quota Claims: Self-attested copies of any certificates supporting claims for seats in reserved quotas.
- Migration Certificate: Candidates from outside the state must provide a self-attested Migration Certificate.
